Lab legends shine at 2025 TSME Symposium!!

Massive congratulations to Yusril, our unstoppable 2nd-year PhD student, for snagging THE FIRST PLACE, and to Min-Yu, fresh off his Master’s degree, for rocking the Third Place in the poster competition at the 2025 Annual Symposium of the Taiwan Society of Microbial Ecology (TSME) at Fu Jen Catholic University!

Yusril’s poster wasn’t just a feast for the eyes—it was a masterclass in scientific finesse, proving once again that PhD energy is a force to be reckoned with. Meanwhile, Min-Yu showed that new grads can hit the ground running, blending fresh ideas with a touch of brilliance to snag a well-earned podium spot.

Competing among some of the brightest minds in microbial ecology, both Yusril and Min-Yu showcased remarkable scientific communication skills and creative approaches to research.

We are incredibly proud of their success and the recognition they’ve earned on such a prestigious platform !!

And huge shoutout to our advisor, Prof. Liu, for his guidance, patience, and general awesomeness—without your mentorship, these wins wouldn’t have been possible.
